Entertaining audiences for over 30 years, singer / songwriter Russell continues to offer a blend of music that includes contemporary folk and acoustic rock.
Russell grew up in Rockford, Minnesota and was the ninth of 14 brothers and sisters. He recorded his first album in 1977 and his second in 1981. During this period of time he toured extensively, performing concerts at colleges and youth events across the United States.
In November 2001, he released a single "Rise Up" a song of rememberance for the victims of September 11 2001.
Russell has nearly completed the mixing and mastering of his new CD "DREAMLAND" that will be released sometime soon. His warm engaging style and uplifting lyrics appeals to audiences of all ages.
